Study Skills Revision Workshop

Join Sasha Dugdale of Rethinking Dyslexia and We are Wild in an interactive and hands on revision workshop to support GCSE students of all abilities.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of We Are Wild’s Walled garden, fuelled up by Clarey’s cakes and delicious lunch, students will leave this workshop loaded and armed with practical and evidence based revision strategies that can be applied at all stages of education. Students will also receive a 'Take Home' resource: a multi-sensory revision toolkit.
The workshop will include:
3 × 45 minute sessions, including methods and techniques like
Parents/Carers are invited to join us from 12:30pm for lunch and an exam revision Q&A session with Sasha.
Please note that each ticket purchased is for one child and an accompanying adult, who can join us for lunch & the Q&A session at the end.
Sasha has over two decades of experience in education, across The State, Independent, and Specialist Sectors and is an English Teacher at a local Secondary School where she teaches students from year 7 up to A level.
Knowledgeable, understanding, and creative in her approach, she draws on her current experiences as a classroom practitioner, with an up to date understanding of the demands of the GCSE syllabi, to provide meaningful, effective and innovative revision strategies to support young people preparing for national examinations.
Sasha is a passionate advocate of individuals with neurodiversity and is an accredited member of the British Dyslexia Association and a registered dyslexia assessor with PATOSS and SASC working in North Yorkshire and Greater London. As a parent herself to three young children, she understands the pressures of supporting a child who thinks and learns differently.
Sasha brings her wealth of knowledge and experiences as a parent, teacher and tutor, to provide personalised and tailored revision strategies to help students realise their full potential and we are very excited to be teaming up with her for these excellent workshops.
