Jewellery Ring Workshop and Soundbath Retreat

Join us for a day of wellbeing, relaxation and creativity in the beautiful surroundings of the old walled garden and woodland.

On our jewellery retreat day Hannah will gently guide you through the creative process to design and make a silver ring from scratch that you can take away with you at the end of the day.

The morning will begin by gathering inspiration from the garden and sketching out your ideas, taking a little time and space to start the day in a mindful, relaxing and peaceful way.

You then move across to the workshop to use what you’ve gathered to help you create a piece of jewellery that is totally unique to you. The act of being creative and physically make something is a great way to take a bit of time out. Whether you want a moment for yourself or quality time with friends or family, the retreat provides an inspirational and relaxed environment in which to get to grips with the time honoured traditional art of jewellery making. It allows you to let your imagination run wild and unleash the creativity you maybe didn't know you had.

After a delicious lunch in the Walled Garden you will wander down into the woodland for some quiet breath work, me time and space for reflection with Jill Russell - The Gong Whisperer. She will guide you through a mindful and relaxing sound bath session under the canopy of the trees to help you destress, relax and unwind before you head home. The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply and letting the vibrations of the gongs reverberate around you and the trees will help you de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a wonderful natural way. It can even be done in the rain as we have some beautiful awnings to sit under and be still just listening to the sound of the rain hitting the canvas roof.

Weather permitting we will end the day with a hot drink and piece of cake round the camp fire together and if the weather is not feeling kind we can move this into the new Garden studio instead.

Closest train stations Darlington, Northallerton or Yarm. (Taxi or pick ups can be arranged but please get in touch when booking to discuss).

Overnight accommodation also available if anyone is coming from far away and needs to stay the night before. Please just ask us.
